"Mortgage Free House"The non-mailbox, mailbox. After Doug spent lots of time making this mailbox to match the style and color of the house, down to the curved decoration -- the post office told us that our box had to be on the opposite side of the road in order to receive delivery. SO -- we left the beautiful box on our side of the road, sealed it shut and have a laminated message on the front to forward mail to my office. Atleast Doug's work isn't for nothing -- his beautiful work let's everyone know our house number! Picture taken August, 2003. |
